Become Human

I don’t get the time to play games.

But there’s this one game that I’d heard about. It’s called Detroit: Become Human.

With the edits and things I’d seen and heard about it, I was too invested to not try it.

So I did.

And I finished it last night, in the span of 3 days.

The game is based on choices.

One choice leads to another set of consequences.

There’s no right or wrong choice. There’s just a decision that you make which forms the rest of the story. You can’t go back on your decision and most times, you need to be swift with your choice.

In the end, every single character in the game has like 10 different endings.

Each of these endings is based on what choices you make throughout the game.

The real-life works exactly the same way.

There’s a very interesting thing about this life that we overlook.

It’s called impact.

Now most of you who think that you don’t have that big of a role to play in this world, I want you to read ahead.

The thing is that most of us make conscious or unconscious decisions on a daily basis.

The taxi you book in the morning adds to the never-ending traffic.

The visit you have to the grocery store adds a few bucks to somebody’s pocket.

The food you throw away becomes somebody else’s food.

At the end of the day, you reach home because of a set of decisions and choices you made that particular day.

And there’s no way out of this. You coming back home makes somebody happy and content. You getting kidnapped makes somebody worried and launch an investigation. You getting killed by a speeding truck makes somebody shed tears and grieve for you.

Everything has a consequence.

The world around us has an invisible interconnection with each other.

And all these choices put an important responsibility on your shoulders.

Most people believe sadness is permanent.

Some people say that they feel they aren’t meant to be happy.

But sadness is only a signal.

An alarm.

An alarm that something in your life isn’t right.

If you’re in a certain situation, analyze what led you to this situation.

What decisions did you make along the way to reach this position?

What could you have done differently to not be here?

How could you have improved your situation?

But most of you don’t analyze the feedback that life gives you.

You just consider yourself unlucky.
