Koo

In 2020, the country and the Twitter platform didn’t agree with each other.

This was a perfect opportunity for an Indian alternative to pop up.

And Koo, the Twitter rival popped up.

Indian celebrities were the first to migrate and then were the people.

But in 2024, Koo shut down.

Now if you ask their founders and “news” sources like the Economic Times, it will tell you Koo failed because it didn’t get any investor funding.

But I’ll tell you the real reason it failed.

Koo failed because Koo was too ideal for humans.

Koo failed because Koo was too positive and you really didn’t see much of the hate or toxicity.

Koo failed because it was boring as hell.

“A utopian society is an ideal society that does not exist in reality.

Utopian societies are often characterized by benevolent governments that ensure the safety and general welfare of their citizens.

Society and its institutions treat all citizens equally and with dignity, and citizens live in safety without fear.”

Now do you want to hear something really interesting about humans?

Humans can never live in a utopian society.

In fact, if everything is perfect for a human brain, it can collapse and start finding conflicts.

That’s why the world around you will never find global peace. That’s why world hunger will never end. And that’s why humans will never stop harming other humans.

Humans can’t live without conflict.

At the least, humans can’t live without drama.

The alarm that you miss, the breakfast that you skip, the traffic jams you get stuck in, the problems you have at work - everything keeps you sane.

If one day you wake up and every single thing goes perfectly, you’ll probably love it.

On day 10, you’d instigate problems on your own just to have a little bit of conflict in your life.

That’s all it is.
