Peak Human Experience

Experiencing the "fun"

A few weeks back, I took a week off with my friends and visited a few beautiful destinations in the country.

I’m talking about beaches, resorts, penthouses, and yachts.

This was “fun”, right?

And it indeed was!

For six days straight, I was surrounded by the people I love, bad networks, exotic weather, sand, and water!

But you know what was the most that I loved during this time?

Not blowing money!

Not trying jetskis!

Not snorkelling!

It was sitting around with my friends and talking!

Talking about things around us, talking about life, talking about our future.

Even after we spent six days straight together, there was so much all of us were yet to mention. It never ends.

Now if you ask me what was the most “fun” thing during this time, I’d say spending time with my people.

Everything else was just a luxury.

Most people think that when you make money, your life changes drastically.

But does it really?

I don’t think so.

When I was at the lowest of the lowest, I still had the same friends. When none of us had money, we still found a way to pay. And our idea of “fun” was always finding a destination to meet and talk endlessly.

Nothing has changed now.

There’s just a change in scenery, location, and amenities. Yet we’re the same people who enjoy the same delicacies in life.

Yes, we’d blow money on some stupid things instead of saving it.

Yes, we’d book a hotel room for 30,000 a night instead of cramming together in a single place.

Yes, we’d enter stores and places like we own it.

But mostly, nothing changes.

Whether you’re at the highest highs or the lowest lows of your life, sitting around with your boys is always going to be the peak human experience.

Life doesn’t get better than this.

This is the real definition of “fun”!
